Hey guys,
Just a couple weeks in my English teacher said something that still hadn’t quite left my mind. It wasn’t a new idea perhaps it was the most common idea we hear every day but this it really hit me.
He draws two lines on the whiteboard.
“Suppose This one is time and this is you, yesterday.” he says.
“Now 24 hours have passed. And time has moved ahead by 24 hours” and then sadly he says “but we are really stuck there. Aren’t we?
We are more or less the same person, even if we spent all Yesterday in bed and did nothing than actually what we really did yesterday how will it really affect rest our lives.
Was yesterday a meaningful day, does it really make a difference, what did you accomplish, what goals you made progress on, what realization have you been through, how are you really a different person from who you were yesterday and is it really enough for 24-hour time frame.
See time is running still when you are asleep,
Still when you are doom scrolling TikTok,
Still when you are going an extra thirty minutes to get a little better ice cream
And then it will reach the finish line and it’s over.”
He was really just saying Time and Tide wait for none but in way that makes ass load sense.
When people come to me and say You know I want to write a book or get in shape and all that crap day to day people care about.
I always ask them,
“Starting When?”
And Most of the times it pisses them off because they don’t really know when and how let alone why.
And once again I’m quoting Matthew Dicks’ Quote that I couldn’t Quote less.
For most of us reality is this; we think we’ll make our dream come true someday and then we run out of someday and then we die.

My grandma has left for Kolkata Yesterday Morning and that means I Have my bedroom back. Whenever she comes, she lives in my room because it has attached bathroom in it and I have to share another of our bedroom with my younger brother Maaz who lost his money last week. As much sad I’m that I Won’t be seeing her for months I also am a little happy to have my room back. In a Small house with 5 siblings who love playing war all day, a back room with attached bathroom is the best thing you could ask for especially when you are a writer.

Book: I found a book called The Third Door by Alex Banyan and let me tell you I wasn’t expecting this book to be life changing but it really is, it is the second most resonated book and perhaps after reading over two hundred books in last of two years that included over 5O Novels, none of them made me cry, but the book’s 5-page long acknowledgement got me weeping. If you are A young entrepreneur trying to navigate life full of family responsibility and expectations you won’t want to miss this book. It’s 276 pages and I actually pulled an all-nighter to read, so it was an easy read too.

Writing Tip: I have read somewhere that mediating before writing can make the process easier to focus and as I was really struggling churn some word out so I tried it and FYI it helped me immensely, it’s less than 50 minutes and I have already at the end of the issue and I think it also helped me to improve the quality of writing so that means I won’t take much time editing it. I’m Gonna experiment with this a little and will tell you how it went in the future issues. If you are a writer, give it a try and tell me in the comments how it went.
A good reminder that we are all just passing through and so need to enjoy the process as much as possible and get the most from life and connect with people. Thanks for writing this I just subscribed.
This is a great newsletter! I really like how you connected your English teacher's quote about time to your question about starting creative projects. "Time and tide wait for none" is a great reminder to take action on our dreams. Looking forward to your next issue.
