There Was a study done on 100 elderly people taking their one of the last breaths, they were asked to reflect what did they regret most in their life.
They didn’t say they regrated what they did but what they didn’t do.
Not spending enough time with family & Friend, not being satisfied with Life whatsoever, not pursing their dream, not taking enough risks.
See, The Culture we are cursing through, it’s not built to make us happy. It’ll tell you lies; it’ll show you billboards promising happiness just one exit away. Yet, every time you take that exit, you’ll find another sign pointing further down the road, we are so busy in optimizing our life that we don’t really live in.
Life is a race with time, which is still running when you are asleep, still when you are scrolling through TikTok, still when you are binge watching Netflix, still when you are going an extra thirty minutes to get a little better pizza
What do we do about this….
Most of the problems are in our lives just because we couldn’t manage our time well enough and don’t have nice Life-Work balance. I didn’t say Work-Life Balance, because it doesn’t make any sense putting work first, you do realize how ridiculous that sounds. See when I say be productive, I’m not saying squeeze as much juice possible from the day and promoting hustle culture but spending your time in way that you won’t regret in your death bed. It’s also about enjoying your life, having fun, and taking care of yourself and as a result avoid burnout.
At the same time being an optimist is just as important, be an optimist about your life, try new things, don’t be afraid of failure, because after all struggle, criticism, failure are the ingredients as well as side effects of success and that would mean if you were afraid of failure then perhaps you are afraid of success.

I love the fact that you are 15 and such an existentialist! This is fabulous. I would just warn you as a fellow deep thinker, the more depth a person has, the bigger is the cavity that’s created.
