Hey there,
You know how someday you feel like we couldn’t quite do stuff, you don’t have the energy and all you want to do is scroll through Instagram and send your best friend 1358860976 reels to get his head through, sometimes it might be good idea to take a day off but sometimes maybe not.
On those days it’s pretty hard to be productive and get things done, but what if told you there a thing or two you can try to harness some energy and get the ball rolling.
Um, why I’m telling you this,
cause next few minutes of your life we are going to discuss it.
#1 Walk.
Walking is one my favorite Antidote to procrastination. A walk with no strings attached, no distance traveled, or step goal just walk until you feel better.
if you can do it in nature, nothing will top that. if not, a quick walk around block is just as effective.
And for the sake of God, don’t bring your energy vampire with you Aka your damn phone.
#2 Mediate.
Meditation is an important part of my morning routine but doing it before any important stuff or If I’m feeling low make me feel much better. So, whenever it’s like a bad day, I try to sneak in mediation, not only it boosts my energy and makes me feel much better, but it also helps me focus better.
5 minutes of mediation for all that, doesn’t seem like a bad tradeoff.
I personally use Headspace, but you can use any of choice.
#3 Take break.
As much tempting it can be to check Instagram or twitter especially during bad days, don’t. It just makes it worse not better.
Instead take real break: listen to your favorite song and sing along, grab a bit of snack, call your best friend or a close relative.
#4 Just do it for 5 minutes.
On Wednesday this week, I missed my morning routine. oh lord I had a streak of 29 days, and I had forgot to do my physics homework, so it wasn’t a good day at school either. I returned home already convinced that I was taking a day off and was going to watch the movie my best friend has suggested. as I flipped open my laptop, there it was
*Notion opened, where I was writing X thread last night.
A part of me said “Why not just complete this thread and post it, it’s already half done” and I did just that but before I knew, I was back in flow, and I got a lot of things done that day.
See most of the time we just need to start which takes much more energy than continuing. if you don't feel like doing anything, before you decide to take a day off or scroll TikTok just to make it worse, just try do the stuff for five minutes,
that’d be enough to get you back on track,

🏆 Weakly Highlights.
I
Book: I am currently reading Pathless Path by
who also happened to have a Substack. From the striking and minimalistic cover design to the formatting everything is more than perfect for a self-published book. It encapsulates the idea imagining a new relationship between work and life. this book must read or anyone looking for a “perfect job”.II
Tool: I’m trying to get my head around notion, until now I have been using it as a word processor, but I’m pretty sure I can do better.

Video: I love travelling. And watching travel vlogs just as much. I found this old video by Max Reisinger “A story about falling in love”. In this video two strangers (a boy and a girl) travel across America in a car capturing awesome shot and moments. believe me you won’t want to miss this.
